PRESENTATION
The International University of the French Language for African Development was presented and adopted at the Summit of Heads of State and Government of French-speaking Countries in Dakar in May 1989. In October 1990, it allowed the opening of Senghor University, a private 3rd cycle institution recognized as an international public utility.

Senghor University offers multidisciplinary and multi-thematic training courses dedicated to sustainable development in a context of globalization. It manages development projects through the work of its students, weaving a network of skills and expertise through the professionalization of its auditors, continuing and distance learning.

Senghor University offers specialized master's degrees and short courses in Alexandria and its 10 other campuses in Africa and Europe to meet the needs of executive skills building for Africa's development. It welcomes about 200 students after a selective competition in which more than 3000 candidates from 25 different countries participate. It also offers 120 scholarships to follow the Master's program in Development for 2 years.
