AoBSO (Association of British Schools Overseas) is a not-for-profit membership organisation of British Schools Overseas, which strives to connect the best in educational thinking and practices in British Schools Overseas around the world.  British Schools Overseas (BSOs) have been inspected under the Ofsted quality-assured, DfE-recognised BSO regulations, which are based on the standards used to inspect British Independent schools in the UK.

Thousands of Dutch children spend part of their childhood abroad. When they return to the Netherlands, they (re-)enter the Dutch  education system at anywhere from primary school to university level. The Foundation for Dutch  Education Worldwide (Stichting Nederlands Onderwijs in het Buitenland, or NOB) is a non-profit organisation that has been facilitating their smooth transition into the Dutch education system since 1980. The Ministry of Education, Culture and Science has commissioned NOB to promote and support high standards of Dutch education for Dutch-speaking children around the world.

BSME supports a network of high quality British international schools in the region. In addition, we facilitate an invaluable partnership between member schools and business partners specialising in educational services, products and tools. BSME offers a robust and varied professional learning calendar to support career progression pathways at all levels, as well as providing high-level sporting, academic and performing arts events for our Students. Our Headship Induction Partner Programme provides new Principals and Heads with the support they need while they find their feet in the region. We support the accreditation of member schools and lobby regulatory bodies to the benefit of our schools.

ISI is appointed by the Department for Education to inspect association independent schools in England. We are also approved by the Department for Education to inspect British schools overseas, and by the Home Office to inspect private further education colleges and language schools. Our inspections report to the Department for Education on the extent to which the statutory Independent School Standards are met. This recognises strong practice and drives improvement across the schools we inspect.
