Aswan University

The Aswan University branch was established in 1974 as a branch of Assiut University, and in 1995 the President of the Republic issued a decision to establish South Valley University, and accordingly, the university branch became affiliated with South Valley University. Other colleges were established, namely (Arts - Social Work - and Engineering). In 2012, Aswan University was established as a governmental university upon the issuance of Republican Decree No. 311 of 2012. The university includes 18 colleges. أنشئ فرع جامعة أسوان سنة 1974 كفرع لجامعة أسيوط وفى عام 1995 صدر قرار رئيس الجمهورية بإنشاء جامعة جنوب الوادى وعليه أصبح فرع الجامعة تابع لجامعة جنوب الوادى. وتم إنشاء كليات أخرى وهى (الأداب – الخدمة الإجتماعية – والهندسة) . وفى عام 2012 أنشئت جامعة أسوان كجامعة حكومية عند صدور القرار الجمهورى رقم 311 لسنة 2012. وتضم الجامعة 18 كلية. ويقع الحرم الرئيسي في مدينة صحارى بأسوان فى طريق المطار
