In 2017, the Central Evaluation and accreditation Agency (ZEvA) Germany, has accredited the following Bachelor's programs offered by the College of Maritime Transport and Technology: Maritime Transport Technology, Marine Engineering Technology.

The IMO has approved the College of Maritime Transport & Technology as a delegate of the Egyptian Authority for Maritime Safety Education & Training in accordance with the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW 1978), as amended.

Both the educational and maritime training systems, and the certification systems adopted by the academy were accredited by the European Commission. Moreover, the recognition of the Academy as an academic nautical institution in accordance with the requirements of the European Union Parliament allows Academy graduates to work on EU vessels.

The International Forum for Maritime Transport (IFMT) under the lead of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) has recently expanded its range of training and services as the one and only approved test center of &ldquoMarlins&rdquo existing in Egypt & Africa. Marlins is the leading provider of Maritime English Language Testing and Training solutions to the maritime industry.

The Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport has been awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certificate for its educational processes in September 1999, after following formal quality assurance procedures to maintain the educational quality level received by students.

The Academy is accredited by The Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, USA. At ABET, the approach, the standards they set and the quality they guarantee, inspires confidence in those who aim to build a better world - one that is safer, more efficient, more comfortable and more sustainable. They accredit college and university programs in the disciplines of applied and natural science, computing, engineering and engineering technology at the associate, bachelors ’and master’s degree levels. With ABET accreditation, students, employers and the society we serve can be confident that a program meets the quality standards that produce graduates prepared to enter a global workforce.

The Academy has been accredited by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, which is an Egyptian body that seeks to improve the quality of education and its continuous development and accreditation of educational institutions in accordance with national standards that are transparent and compatible with international standards.
