The school was founded by the monks founded by the Holy See (Vatican State) in 1847. Its goal is to preserve the Armenian heritage, language and culture for its children. The renovations of this year 2011/2012 for the primary building were completed by painting the building as a whole and all classrooms, renovating the computer lab with equipment, renovating the media lab and science lab by expanding it and renovating all the classrooms.
