The middle school program is based on the unique needs and characteristics of the young adolescent. Through a balanced yet challenging curriculum, students are offered intellectual as well as creative possibilities to develop in an active learning environment. The middle school educational program is aligned to the Common Core State Standards for the core subjects with the exception of science which follows the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and Arabic which abides by the ministry of education curriculum. Student engagement, critical thinking and collaboration are promoted through various interdisciplinary project based learning (PBL) initiatives which offer students opportunities to demonstrate learning in alternative settings. The school provides the students with a positive and collaborative school climate where they are encouraged to explore issues and topics of relevance to them and express their opinions through venues such as student council, character education classes, and advisory sessions. Middle school students are also given opportunity to reach their potential through a selection of offered electives as well as participating in a wide variety of extra curricula activities and clubs. This encourages middle school students to become self-motivated learners and independent thinkers in preparation for their high school education.

Hayah’s high school program consists of a challenging college preparatory program offering the IB Diploma and the American Diploma, both programs are recognized nationally and internationally. The high school program consists of a full and rigorous schedule of obligatory and elective academic courses that broaden the knowledge of the students. Students are encouraged to take courses that challenge them academically towards fulfilling their maximum potential and ability, and to meet the standards required to compete in a demanding world.
