The Royal International Language School (RILS) had been established in 2002 with only one building for the national Egyptian system. In 2006, the school campus included two buildings one for the National Division and the other is for the Canadian Nova Scotia Division. The Royal International Canadian School was dedicated to provide a quality Canadian education program and services in order to help the students attain their full potential academically, socially and physically. In order to achieve this goal, the Royal International School had extended partnerships with the Cape Breton University in Nova Scotia - Canada and the Canadian International college in Egypt, this is for the school to be able to start the teacher professional development program "The International Graduate Diploma In Education IGDE" between Canada and Egypt and to prepare such a high caliber of teachers, who are internationally certified. In 2009, the school staff attended the graduation celebration in Cape Breton University and the school had ten internationally certified teachers who are still working in the school campus in the school National Division and international American Division and regularly renew their international teaching license.
