The bilingual Kindergarten is an all-day facility and accepts children between 3 and 6 years of age into its baby class and Kindergarten groups. They divide the Kindergarten groups per age in: Baby Class (3-4 years) Kindergarten Class (4-5 years) Preschool Class (5-6 years) Each group is led by a German teacher and a German-speaking teaching assistant. We are also offering a daily English class by two English-speaking teachers. In addition to that, we give extra German and English lessons through the German as a Foreign Language groups (DaF) and English as a Second Language groups (ESL) so the children can be further supported in learning the languages. In all Kindergarten groups, we believe that the most important foundation in learning other languages is the fluency of the children’s mother tongue. That’s why teaching Arabic is effective in fostering children’s learning abilities in other areas.
